Compatible Growth For Self and Others
Founded in Cebu City in 1992, FC is a community of individuals committed to personal growth, human dignity, and service through facilitation — creating spaces where people can reflect, learn, relate, and cope with life more meaningfully.
The Facilitators' Circle, Inc. is a growth- and service-oriented community dedicated to the enhancement of the self and the advancement of others. Founded by Dr. Glenn Glarino in 1992, FC began as an informal organization responding to the need for trained facilitators, and over time grew into a Securities and Exchange Commission-registered organization based in Cebu City.
The Facilitators' Circle is committed to the enhancement of the self and the advancement of others through facilitation, service, and growth-oriented human interaction.
In FC, facilitation is not limited to organized sessions or structured activities. The skills developed in formation are also meant for personal growth, everyday communication, relationships, leadership, and human interaction.
"We believe facilitation begins with the self. Before one can hold space for others, one must learn to listen inwardly, honor experience, and relate with respect. This is why FC formation is not only about skills — it is also about becoming more aware, more grounded, and more human in the way we meet others."
These convictions shape every session, every conversation, and every relationship FC facilitators hold.
We believe human beings are basically good.
We believe each person is capable of actualizing their own freedom.
We honor each person's uniqueness within a changing environment.
Individuals have the right to pursue their own happiness.
We believe every person deserves to be treated with dignity.
We uphold confidentiality in every facilitating experience.
We recognize self-awareness as the foundation of genuine facilitation.
The phenomenal experience with others begins with the phenomenal experience with the self.
We believe genuine experiential facilitating emanates from the heart.
The Facilitators' Circle emerged from Dr. Glenn G. Glarino's vision of developing trained facilitators who could support personal and group growth through experiential and heart-centered processes — a vision that has since grown into a global community of practice.
The Facilitators' Circle is guided by a Board of Trustees committed to upholding the vision, principles, and direction of the organization.

FC is not a team-building supplier. It is a formation-based community — grounded in practice, not performance.
Training and mentoring individuals in the foundations of experiential facilitation, self-awareness, group process, and human interaction.
Designing and facilitating sessions that help individuals and groups reflect, communicate, and grow.
Supporting organizations, communities, and groups in conversations, planning, reflection, decision-making, and relationship-building.
Helping teams strengthen trust, communication, collaboration, and shared direction.
Offering facilitation support for initiatives aligned with human development, service, and the betterment of human living.
FC formation is both skills-based and person-centered. Members are invited to develop self-awareness, presence, listening, confidentiality, group process skills, and the capacity to facilitate from the heart.
Posted straight from our Facebook Page — no need to check both places.
"FC gave me good anchors on facilitating, which is an important skill in training, counseling, and psychotherapy, and in interviewing — one important facet of assessment. It has given me a solid background on theories and principles and their respective applications."Emmanuel "Tata" Hernani, PhD, RPsy. — Alumni Facilitator, Batch 3, Clinical Psychologist
